Hi all, Just got back from long w/end away .Checked emails to find change in forum.I can't see why there is so much opposition to soc members only posting.1Without the club there would be no forum.Iagree there are some things in the mag we all don't like.but just one job done on your stag from the formerly Kingpin and now jack shaft will more than compensate thesubscription.Alsoreading posts its clear most of us like like a few beers.I play darts on Tuesdays and including my Taxi home i never spend less than 30quid!(8 pints@ £3.30 +£5 Taxi). so in perspective the yearly membership is peanuts. I recently bought aq pod to tow behind my motorhome ,so i joined their forum and the rules what you cant do are unbelievable.We have a brilliant forum,lets not loose it.Regards Tony

At the current exchange rate of €1.18 to the £Sterling = £9.75 roughly. That means that with £30 to spend you go out darting & boozing 3 times a week instead of just the once!

Good one Terry,that sounds good, buti play DARTS on Tuesdays, i go out drinking the other 6 nights.I havn't been to the canaries for 3 years and i coudn't get stella or strongbow at that price then. What bar are you drinking in ?.Regards Tony.Comment

So please ring me before you come across to Los Cristianos as I may be at the Hospital. I believe Ian Charlesworth has given you directions - he says he is coming out for 6 months soon and if it works out he is going to stay permanently but he will have to get his white TV8 Stag running ready for driving over as his red Rover engined one could not be permanently imported without it's original engine.
The blue Stag I referred to in another post is now here and is currently in the process of getting "matriculted" onto Spanish plates. Going to see it next week as the owner needs the Chassis number stamping into the body to comply with Spanish Law and I still have the punches I used when I did mine.
I am sure that we can fix a date up to meet when you are here - my home phone number is 922 750 392 (has an answer phone attached if I am not in), and my mobile is 618 391 806.
PS. Always have plenty of cold beer in the fridge.
