    Alarm System

Does anybody out there have a wiring diagram of a Moss MS730 system. Its just a complete mess of wires everywhere. Plus I dont know how to turn it on. I do not like these add on devices and would prefer to make up my own simple switch.

Also can anyone recommend a good trmmer in the South Cheshire Area or near to that area. Or a good supplier. (Seats and Carpets)

    Hi Mike

I am not sure if thsi will help, but managed to find it on another forum where someone was asking the same question as you.

Moss Security Alarms belong to Doro UK Ltd. You should be able to contact them in the UK on 01527-585522.

    Good luck

An alarm is easy, you just need to diconnect it, but an immobiliser is more difficuly. You may already know, but car seucrity systems that are properly installed will have wire identififcations removed, so a thief cannot easily trace the circuits. To remove it, you will have totrace along each wire back to the original wiring, then IDthat way (by the colour and where it goes). Tedious I know but thats probably the only option.

If it is an immobiliser, the main circuits interruptedare usually Ignition, Starterand Fuel Pump.On easier way todisable animmobiliseris just to bridgeit with new wires which pyass the immobiliser.

PS I know this because I have installed an immobiliser (not nicked a car!!).

And if Thatcham approved all the wires will be the same colour - usually black! And they should be soldered, not crimped..........

        Have fun
