accident in Jaguar

driving home from work this afternoon, with my 17 year old daughter along a main rd and a bloody stag jumped out infront of me.....jag 0 - stag 1.

few dented panels and a big wallop it scooted down the road then ran off!

its an insurance versus pay for it myself debate at moment.

everyone unhurt is the main thing though i reckon the stag may be walking with a limp for a few days, poor bugger!

Really sorry to hear this, but as you say, at least no-one was hurt. It must have shaken you up as Ihad this happen to me in France about a month ago and it took me a while to get over it and continue the journey.

Hope the Jag isn't too bad

every cloud has a silver lining, my daughter is learning to drive at the moment, in fact we were coming back from her theory test at the time, which she did not take as we were a day early! She complimented me on my composure and a good emergency stop....i wont tell you what she normally says i would be thrown off here.

Hope you got over your deer close encounter ok.
