Are these good to put back in?

My mate thinks these are worth changing, I am not sure. It is from one of the biggerclips on the funny shapped bar in the bottom of the engine. It is not the clips that are connected to the arms going into the holes.

Its a shame Russ doesnt post anymore, as I am sure he would have a view on it and is the nearest to me if a good look is required to make a firm decision.

    Thoughts?

BIG END BEARINGS and crank look F*CKED

REPLACE THEM AND HAVE CRANK GROUND AND TUTRIFIED
MACHINIST WILL SELL THE BEARINGS COMPLETE WITH CRANK

IF YOU HAD LITTLE OIL PRESSURE THAN THAT IS PART OF YOUR PROBLEM

Knackered. Seen worse, but those definitely need doing.

have been doing a bit of googling and wondered if new shells and a bit of slick 50 might do the trick. Certainly cheaper but from these posts, I guess not

mine ran with less meat on the bearings and broken caps but the crank journals needed a light clean.

Maybe try running op engine with some oil in it..:P

You need to rough them up with an angle grinder to give them a key, wind some duct tape round them, and fill the sump with grease.....
