what do you reckon guys and girls
thought my vibation was rear hub bearings
replaced those,car has rislan drive shafts so u/js there ok
front bearings repaced 6 months ago ,seem all ok
vibration is worse on overrun,even with engine off and coasting its still there
propshaft u/js or quill shaft bearing?
no movement in prop u/js with tyre lever applied
definatly feels rear end,with small vibrarion through wheel. guess thats cos its vibrating everthing

hi just had the same problem cured it friday it wasthe large diff mountings that go into the floor mine looked ok but when removed where completly gone i also replaced anti vib strips easy job to do my car know feels 100% better good luck steve

Hi Alan,
I had similar symptoms when the front seal on the diff failed, and the gear oil washed the grease out of the quill shaft bearing.
I replaced the diff front seal, strengthened the quill shaft with 4 strips of metal, and then fitted the new quill shaft bearing.
Obviously your need to fit the quill shaft bearing after the strengthening of the quill shaft, or the welding will melt all the grease in your new bearing.
That solved it for me FWIW

hi Al,

have you read the other posts the guys have talking about under vibration, the anti vibration straps, the amount of washers needed etc, just a thought
