that sounds strange to me. Why? I installed EBC disks last spring and measured now the9 year old standard disks from SOC Spares which I took off the Stag. They have worked ca. 70.000 km and still have a thickness of 14,1 mm. The unused rusty rim measures 14.5 mm. Is that stii the standard thickness of new disks today? I aske because I found already a suitable corner where I can throw my EBC grooved disks into when I have change back to standard. But thats another sad and costly story. I intend to use the old ones again although I have wire wheels.
Meanwhile I found an old info from Mike Allen which he faxed (!) me 10 years go:
the minimum thickness is alowed to be 0,528 inches = 13,41 mm.
