A question toall you Auto Transmission experts!

The British Leyland Parts Catalogue shows that a BW 65 Torque Converter and it's associated Bell Housing,has different Part Numbers from the earlier BW35 Torque Converter,...........................

Question > Is it possible to fit a BW35 Torque Converter into a BW65 Bell Housing?

and will the Auto transmission function correctly ?

No. They are different animals. Why do you want to try and fit a 65 converter to a 35? The 65 is a better box, so why not get a propshaft, and a set of downpipes and fit the 65?
