trying to curl a water leak so going to have new windscreen rubber fitted

Hi Dave, there are at least two currently available, one is slightly too small and very difficult to seal. After replacing a cracked windscreen (Autoglass) It leaked like hell, I got a new one from Wards and paid for re-fitting, no further problems. No, I'm not on commission Martin.

Hi Dave, a local old fashioned fitter did it for me, ask your nearest expert who they use.
I've attached a relevant drawing that gives some idea of the risk involved in using inexperienced people. Martin.

Whichgroove is glass & which side is body in the above picture?

Lower is the outside (metal) though it doesn't matter, the sealant should go deep into both slots. Martin.
