Rotrex Supercharger

I do like to day dream a bit...but this Rotrex Supercharger I would imagine could be fitted to the relocated alternator position?

Its basically a belt driven turbo, sized similiar to a large alternator.

Price for the supercharger & oil system per photo around £1,500 inc VAT, you then have to fit it of course, modified fuel system etc.

Could be a simpler and cheaper solution compared to the excellent HRS Supercharged Stag?

Any supercharged or turbocharged installation becomes 'forced induction'.
If sticking with carbs you either have to modify/replace the original carbs so they do not leak air under the positive air pressure, and also increase the fuel pressure to compensate, or move them before the supercharger/turbocharger so the air is sucked through the carb instead.
If you have fuel injection it is easier.

This is very interesting. I can visualise a way to virtually hide this modification by modifying the existing air cleaner box, and blowing through the strommies either using the injector modification that's available for them or Tony harts modified injection manifold and stromberg throttle body conversion.

A supercharged stag that looks nearly stock, its got my interest, just wish I had the cash to risk on trying it out!

Those "electric superchargers" are a con. To generate the kind of pressures nd flow rates needed requires serious power. Nothing electric running at 12volts can keep up with the flow rate the engine requires unless it flattened your battery in a couple of seconds. (in fact most car batteries can't supply the kind of power supercharging would require). if you search the net you will see serious electric supercharger projects, but they all involve seriously powerful motors and massively high output alternators charging their own batteries. Even then you only get boost for few seconds and have to spend minutes building up the charge for the next use.

Agreed - absolute con. It boasts a 5amp fuse which means it is rated at less than 60watts ie the same power as a headlamp bulb. A Kenlowe fan suitable for a Stag is rated over 4 times that.
