I have just purchased a big pile of Dolomite bits while Rimmers have got their sale on, all well and good.
However I also purchased a pair of stag cylinder head rebuild kits, as the kits are a lot cheaper than the parts bought seperately, but when they arrived the discount had done a vanishing trick:?
It appears that the kits are already discounted at about 15% and the computer program prices the individual parts at a discount, rather than the kit at a discount, resulting in a virtualy standard price
A phone call to their customer services caused some confusion at their end, but they phoned back a couple of hours later to say the had found the source of the problem, which appeared to be a programming glitch when it comes to discounting kits. They are repaying the £29 discount to my card so it looks like it has all gone well in the end.
Now they are aware of the problem there may be no more difficulties, but it would be as well to check the total costif purchasing kits on the discount scheme
