hi guys,
just collected the stag from Wards today, they have fitted an oil/water gauge for me and a new fuel pump, my fuel pump packed up on the way there :shock:, well thats cured the intermittent stalling and grinding to a halt. Bearing in mind that it's a fully recon engine and its done about 1000 miles now, i have an oil pressure reading of about40 warm, on tickover, and 70 cold from start up, is this too high, i asked Mick and he said the way the engines are reconditioned they will read slightly higher because the oil ways on the crank etc are counter sunk, thus helping the flow, but it does increase the pressure :?
i would like your thoughts please as i know the last thread you spoke about 25 warm and 50 from cold, i'm a bit confused :?and would really like some opinions please
Alan
