Not so vintage Sunday morning breakfast run in Sussex

    Calling all you southerners.

This Sunday is the Veteran Car run to Brighton and as the weather looks good,I propose that instead of meeting at Newlands Corner, we meet at the Victory pub in Warninglid Rd, Staplefield, Haywards Heath, West Sussex RH17 6EU.

We can have a nice drive in the cars, have a spot of breakfast, watch a few old things drive through and enjoy the variety of classic cars that all do the same thing in the area.

I will even be in the Stag, for those Sunday regulars who think I have sold it

In Pistonheads style, time for a list of all those who say yeah:
    1. Grahamb
    2. Ianb
    3. Stevec (MGC)
    4. AndewN (Healy 3000)

Hi Steve, its not that far from Horsham at all. 7 or so miles and on route. Does that make you number 5?

I'll have to email the seller and see if it will flat pack.

I am sure it will be that sort of time. I will call you friday or saturday as we seem to be alone from on here.

                          Hi Graham/Ian

I am going on Sunday but with Stuart who you have met before he goes every year if dry..lol

He goes to a place where there is two pubs either side of the road and said that many of the cars stop there for a final check before pushing on to Brighton. so you can take a close look at the cars and talk to the owners.

So as this is closer to Brighton we might just pop by and say hello.

                          Steve

                            Steve,

this is on the B2114 to Cuckfield.

                            http://www.lbvcr.com/assets/2010_LBV...eaflet,_DL.pdf

The map show Cuckfield as the 3rd stop before the end of the route, so might be the same place. If you look at google maps, there are two pubs at this place. The Victory does breakfast inside or out, dependant on the weather. The other has a bbq type thing going in the car park but was busier due to being right on the road.

I will pm you my mobile number. Give us a call if you in the area, it would be good to see you both.

We have a 5th now - Scarts is coming with us. He should be able to keep up this time as well (I am running the engine in). We are leaving mine at 8 ish, so should be there about 9.

                            Any more takers?
