Over the winter I expect that at sometime I'll have the front and/or rear suspension apart and be putting new bushes in. Looking at the various suppliers' websites there seems to be a poly bush for just about every place on the car, even the big rear subframe ones. Now, I'm wondering if it is a good idea to replace all of the bushes everywhere with poly ones, or if some are better with new rubber ones?
For example, I vaguely recall somewhere reading that the front drag strut bushes where it attaches to the body were better in rubber as the poly was too stiff for that application and didn't reduce the shock loading, leading to faster wear on the fixings.
Any advice welcome!
John.

. It seems to make sense what is being said there (as usual).I thinkI'll just use poly bushes on the pivotting connections like the rear trailing arms and track control arm and new rubber elsewhere.
