Don't throw away that Npower 'junkmail'

Received ours today for £52.25, a letter to take to the post office to be paid back in CASH!!!

The letter c/w flyiers looks like junkmail...bet a large % gets thrown in the bin

Good post. Ours nearly got binned. £64 for a walk to the Post Office.

You have to consider that, notwithstanding the letters text, they might have done the exercise this way knowing that a fair proportion would be junked. Every one not claimed is profit for them. Or is that just cynical old me?

I agree, why could they not credit the amount back to existing customers or send a cheque to those customers who have since left, if not to profit on those people who either forget, can't be bothered or have chucked their letter in the bin.

If life was not too short I would have considered claiming for travelling expenses to the post office, loss of earnings and a subsistence allowance.

The sad thing is I still think I have been given £64.55 but in actual fact all they have done is given me my own money back.

Now I have to decide if I should put it into my Stag fund or Pub fund, decisions, decisions .

from my current position, in the bar, that's a no brainer (e pints in) .utilities tomorrow I might reason that transport to the pubmivht be useful. But I can't abandon the Stag in the pub car park, you're right. Tough call.
