RH exhaust and oil filter clash

Taking off the exhaust to eventually remove the gearbox, the RH down pipe wouldn't go past the oil filter bowl. I've seen from other posts that the filter really needs to come off, but does the spin on conversion make access to the exhaust and manifold flange any easier?

I removed and refitted the front pipes on my car without having to disturb the spin on oil filter

Thanks guys, might as well get one of those as well then.

Which spin on filter does it use, I mean if you go into Halfords or where ever, what vehicle's filter do you ask for?
