Ballast Resistor wiring diagram from R O M

I am at work at present, and wondered if anyone had the R O M to hand ?

If so I would be grateful if someone could scan the wiring diagram for the ballast resister and post it here or PM to me this afternoon?

mk1 or mk2?

Mk1 ignition controlled white ? feed to external ballast resister, then ballast resistor to +ive coil.

Mk2 ignition controlled white feed to the loom that runs from the unfused side of the wiper fuse and across the back of the dash. somewhere inside the loom it changes to a white / pink wire which goes through the bulkhead under the servo and pops out from the bulkhead sound deadening to go to the +ive coil.

mine was mk2 until it started to mess me about.

I unwrapped half the loom to find where it joined and gave up. I found the white bit and cut it! Verified by 0v feed to the coil and then spliced in a new white wire feed to the ballast resister attached to the coil mounting on the inlet manifold. It might yet move to the inner wing.

Thanks for the replies. As mine was rebuilt back in 2001 and not used a lot since, it is anyones guess how the wiring has been done! But I have noew given the diagrams to the garage and they can sort it out!
