Made my annual pilgrimage to the NEC Classic today and thoroughly enjoyed it. On my way to look for the SOC stand, I happened upon this chap, working like a goodun, with no coffee or sit down, I don't know if anybody recognises him ?
Lovely to see the Warks guys, and Lesley doing their stuff, a good chat, a coffee and a sit down were most welcome. Martin.

I too was made very welcome at the SOC stand (saw your name in the book Martin..apparently I'd just missed you). Had a coffee AND 2 chocolate biscuits

I must say the SOC hospitality was superb even to non-members and was in stark contrast to the impression you got reading the signas you entered the TVR stand!

In fact there is a picture of said blue Stag just to the right of his bonce - and very nice too.
I'm very seriously thinking about a pair of those lights, they are astonishing, two pairs if I can convince SWMBO of how much we need them. Martin.

Like others, made to feel very welcome at the stand and would just like to thank all those that put in tremendous hours and work in putting our stand on and running it. they do this for four days! Well done!

I also visited the SOC stand at the NEC,
and as always received a very warm welcome.
I do wonder if those that seem to take pleasure
in knocking the people that put a great deal of time
(voluntary and unpaid and without them we would not have a club)
ever think about volunteering to help either
at local or national events.

Here here ! I hope all your work payed off John ! Did the guy with the Landrovers reward you suitably ? Nurses - what nurses ? (I'm still limping)
It was nice to meet your Son again, I think you're both quite lucky.
As for Warwickshire SOC, they are astounding in the amount of work they put in, we owe them a huge thank you. :dude: Martin.

Just got back from the NEC - great show and the SOC stand was very friendly, i enjoyed my chat with other members on the stand and was made most welcome.
