In the spirit of having pic's of all the places, here is a belated one taken today with it on Aerosilver's (Bob) drive where she has been for a couple of weeks ...

Pleased to report that I managed to drive her back home after taking the pic - she ticks over nicely and sounds very good as I think Bob will agree - with him following me all the way just to make sure I got there!

However there is still this electrical problem which is affecting reliable starting. I think I said before that the starter motor terminal is loose and, for some reason, this means that there is some backfeed to it from the coil which reduces voltage when cranking. The garage had rigged up fix with a relay (don't ask me details as the whole electrical issue is a confusion to me) but it seems that it has now burnt out as the only way to get enough current while cranking is to make a direct connection from battery + to coil +

So I won't be driving her other than to the garage for the next installment which is going to have to include a new starter motor - wondering if I am best getting one for a RV8 incase it differs from the Triumph one?
