    Driving without bumpers

I want to get my front and rear bumpers rechromed, but don't want to have the Stag off the road - does anyone know whether it is legal to drive a car with the bumpers removed?

    Thanks

According to this thread you should be OK, just make sure you have no sharp edges etc showing. I'm sure someone will have the definitive answer.

As long as your front number plate is visible, and, if a Mk1,you have rear number plate illumination from another source (like a MkII bootlid) you should be fine

as Kevin has mentioned, no shap edges must stick out from the bodywork

      cheers...... Andy
