turned ignition key, heard relays click off ,dead as a dodo,although starter working
Ist thought .
fuse ,thats all OK,but connections dead
2nd thought
ignition switch,test lamp read OK to live power (brown).tested white wire with key in on position
,thats OK too

guess the problem

yep you got .connector block on steering column
took it apart cleaned it,sprayed some electric contact cleaner


turned key,ignition lights now all on


started all OK

b****y typical stag,the more you love them, the more brown stuff they drop on you.just refurbing the engine bay on mine and removed lots of bits that I'm sure will go back and not perform as Mr triumph intended. Already reading up on some exotic names to call the ungrateful cow when the inevitable happens some time next spring when I finally finish it all and don sunglasses to avoid the glare from all the new bling ! pete.c
