Found a leak in my cooling

I knew my coolant was going down a bit although its slowed down since rad fan fitted and engine kept cooler

In the cold today I parked up and there was steam coming slilghtly from the front of the car, I opened bonnet and I can see steam comingfrom the bottom corner of the rad ( its only been in car about 4000 miles) and I could see that above that part of rad the rubber pipe that comes out with the metal pipe attached seems to have a lot of fluid around the jubilee clip. seems like leak is there and dripping down to the bottom of the hot rad causing the steam?? hopefully a screwdriver will tighten it tomorrow and stop any leak

    fingers crossed anyway

Be careful, that little pipe is very soft, and over tightening will make it worse.Take the rubber pipe off, then using a rod of about the same diameter, make it as perfectly round as you can, then tighten the clip in stages as she warms up. Martin.

what he said, but keep an eye on the clearance to the alternator fan, there isn't much room!
