    Drain hole in front sills

Gent's went to spray some waxoil into my front sills and noticed that after having new floor pans and 10" of frontinner sills replaced at the begining of the summer the panel beaters seem to have failed to drill the hole. The outer sill still has the hole but not one apparent on the inner sill.

Not being a body work expert, I'm a little confused as to why the holes are no longer there. I assume that these holes are important for drainage etc.

Has this been overlooked by the body shop and should I drill right through, or should I leave them. To be honest some of you may remember the saga I went through with a particular body shop and I think this may well be another thing that they overlooked!!!!

Hi Mike, drill them as carefully as you can, paint the edges of the holes with primer & colour as normal, give a couple of days to harden off then wax inject and plug with soft rubber close fitting plugs or grommets. A bit tedious, but those holes will quickly rust if not done properly. Martin.

OK Martin thanks mate. Martin I have noticed that when the car is wet water seems to drip out of them. I thought that they were some type of drain hole..
