does anyone know of or can they recomend a carrier to collect a pallet of engine /gearbox from somerset .reliable and not to costly to be delivered to bedfordshire not in a rush or anyone from that area who travels this way at times with a large van.

I'm in Somerset and a pallet with engine and gearbox should fit easily in the back of my Citroen C8 (It's as big as a Citroen Dispatch van). Being retired, I can usually make time - although heaven knows where it all goes :?
I'd just ask for the cost of the fuel (although please check 'cos it may work out cheaper with a delivery company)
when i ran my own wholesalers i used these guys will pick up and deliver anywhere in the uk. pallets used to cost about £40 but that was 4 years ago.....ask for John or Mark

julian, thanks for the kind offer may take you up on itim awaiting more info from the chap i bought this kit from he is in bridgewater and it is comming to luton north j11 m1 and about 15 mins from the junction into the sticks a bit. its quite a heavy lump v8 with box not attached though and not mr triumph:shock:ive only just done the deal and it may take a short while to arrange this hoping by end of next week but whenever is good realy .

try a google search for palletforce prices from about £60.00 48 hr delivery i used one for a gearbox .they picked up in cheltenham put iton a pallett and delivered to me in deepest Cornwall for £60.00 plus vat well pleased.
