Apparently it was a mis-translation of the Roman's Latin name, in the Mercian language it's as today. Personally I think it's a nonsense, we all know who we mean.
I suppose you could stand up in a Stag and drive it through a crowd - might work. Martin.
These were fitted to the front wheel of a pick up with a twin wheel rear axle. I suspect the intention is to make the front of the car as wide as the rear to stop you getting stuck in a tight spot, still extremely dangerous.
