Open top in a Stag

There I was, last Monday, driving around in a Stag, top down, shades on, shorts on, 25C and still in Europe.

Mind youwe were in Tenerife and being hosted by Terry and Maureen Makinson. Thanks to the forum, we made contact with Terry and Maureen and had a pleasant few beers in the sun. I urge you all to use the forum to make contact with Stag owners whenever you can. A few years ago I made contact with some in Australia and had a most enjoyable day being driven around Sydney beaches in a Stag. You never know, you could help them keep their Stags on the road by carrying out small hard to get parts.

Not only did you enjoy the ride, and the company of Terry & Maureen, but I am sure they appreciated still being regarded as part of the SOC community.

Ifor one am slightly tinged with green :P:shock:.

Anybody coming Down Under toQueensland andstaying in the Cairns area feel free to contact me. The coast road between Cairns and Port Douglas is one of the best "top down" drives in the world. (In my humble opinion!)
