    Hello Kevin.

I put a bid in when it was £107. The price almost doubled in the last seconds. Good luck to whoever got it.

I had £105 on itfrom the outset .Quite glad i lost it in the end .it's not ideal as it doesn't have the 7degree forward tilt.I thought i would fit a angled packer inbetween it and the carb.

This got me thinking, how important is the 7 degree angle? after all what happens when you go up or down hills?

it limits you to the small air filter because of the bonnet clearance ,cant have a pancake one.also not ideal for the float chamber apparently.

Point taken on the air filter clearance, I'll be using a 7 deg adapter plate for the time being, but do you see what I mean about hills? the float chamber can't be held horizontal all the time.

Kev i'm sure it would work fine as this is how Tony Harts adaptors are.But if it's leaning back at 7 deg and then you go up a 7 deghill it's now at 14 deg .maybe you might run out of fuel if yourblasting up a long hill (Probablyoverheat before that happens though:P).

I had to add a wedge plate to my HRS adapter, mostly to to level the Holley correctly and fit a 14" air filter unit. It also aided in giving more clearance for the auto-kick down cable that passed over the top of the distributor.
