Anyone else getting "empty" eMails from E.J. Wards which have nothing but the company logo and the info that you are receiving it because you are subscribed to the newsletter?

Got my second one in two weeks today and one of my virus scanners says it contains a malicious virus.

:?just got one as well but no viral detection evident .been getting them for a while and not had any strange hapennings yet,except for the dog think he,s turning into a blacksmith he,s been in the workshop all day and when i went down there this afternoon he made a bolt for the door

I got two from them today - the first one 'empty' like Drew describes, the second one had an advert for their gift vouchers.

I don't think there's anything suspicious or malicious- probably just a mistake :?

Both of them had an 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom if you're getting fed up with them.

I've had a few blank emails too but viruses reported

I emailed Wards to ensure I wasn't missing out on any special offers & Trina responded very promptly to apologise, it seems their test emails are being sent to their customers erroneously and this is being investigated.

I just looked at the last one in plain text rather than HTML and I found the text embedded "25% off all Stag parts for SOC Club Members for orders placed before close of trading in November"

and the unsubscribe link at the bottomis broken to. Had to email them directly to be removed from the mailing list. - Alan
