it says the rear one.... do i have to replace the whole pipe? cause i spent alot of time restoring the old ones and it would seem a shame to have to loose it... does it go from the servo all the way to the rear?

        thanks
        Ben

          Hi

If the mean the pipe connected to the drum then this is only a short piece from the brake cylinder to the flexible pipe on the trialing arm.

you can buy this bit them bleed the brakes.

Advice - Grease the brake pipes each year than they will not corrode, clean off the smear the outside of the pipe with LM grease job done!

Just a suggestion, use Kunifer pipe, it doesn't work harden like copper, or corrode like steel.

Make sure your MOT tester explains exactly which one it is, although when you inspect them it should be obvious.

I had an MOT failure on rear suspension bushes, so I replaced all the four bushes in the susp arms. When I returned for a retest he said no, it was the sub-frame bushes need changing!! He was wrong about that, but it was easiest to change them rather than submit a complaint. Needless to say I MOT at a different place now.

My local motor factor makes up newbrake pipes to order while you wait. Just take the old one in for comparison.I did think about buying the kit to make my own, but its not worth it for the rare occasion when I would use it.
