    My new frame and hood

Well heres my new mk1 hood in blue as supplied and fitted by Brian Turner.

I am very pleased with it, the side windows have transformed the light inside the car and made chaging lanes safer on the Motorways. He also fitted some new torneau cables as mine were pretty much shot and having trouble releasing all the relevant bits...

    bring on the Spring !

I am getting the exhaust sorted in a few weeks by Long life, one of their systems onto my newly arrived Monarch manifolds, photos will follow.

Looks very nice Stuart,my Tonneau cables and a broken release catch were also replaced at the same time by Brian, figured it was worth getting the job done properly.

      cheers...Andy

Stuart, your hood looks great! If you dont mind my asking, but how much? i am desperate for a new hood, mine really shows my otherwise half decent car up. Where is this Brian Turner?

How long did it take to fit?

        Thanks

          Hi Stuart

Looks really nice and I will be asking Brian to do my seatbelts and soft top this year. Just out of interest how much did it cost so I know how much to budget for?

The cars looking better evry time I see a picture of it you must be really proud of the work you have put in.

The blue top looks stunning .i'll definatly go for blue to match my interior when the time comes.

look forward to the picks of your bespoke exhaust.

Thanks for all the kind words, i am blushing :P

The total cost was £970 but the frame is beautiful, hood is gorgeous and it is nice to have someone with such obvious enthusiasm for Stags working on ones pride and joy, Brian is a lovely guy even though he laughed very hard when I told him of my efforts to find him !!

Mine cost more because of the cables, the mk1 windows and various conversions from mk1 frame to a mk2 etc. original price was £800 for hood and frame for referance.

I dropped her off on wednesday and got the train back, and then picked her up on friday, all very painless.
