      That looks brilliant Alan.

Mine looks tatty and I've got another which I'm meaning to tidy up when I can. What did you do yours with? I'd be very pleased if I could make mine look as good as yours

      Cheers

        Very nice; looks like new.

When are you going to finish the job and paint that bracket black?

        I'll get my coat

Apart from holding it steady with chain wrench , so I could undo nut
then came off easy with three legged puller

                  yes I do

But I have a small industrial plant that i set up myself
cant vouch for kits sold by frosts
As I use it to replate the gauge cases

main problem with these i think are
                      1
                      the price

                      2 no rectifier supplied
and difficult to plate on battery voltage unless you put some resitance in using light bulbs

                      chemicals are easily obtained

boric acid, zinc chloride, potassium chloride, zinc carrier and brightener and
                      zinc anodes
gateros plating is cheaper than frosts

                      maplins for rectifier

                      hope that helps

cool, that looks like an interesting bit of kit to have in the tool box! How good is the 'Replica' Chrome? is is robust enough to withstand the elements?
