    Rimmer Website problems anyone?

Anyone having problems logging in or ordering from the Rimmers' website? They seem to have revamped a couple of things and Firefox won't let me log in or even order without registration. Internet Explorer lets me log in, but the website appearance is not perfect - there seem to be some banners missing or whatever.

    Drew

(please no comments about "serves you right for wanting to order from them" etc., as I don't have an issue with RB. Far fromit!!!)

Just tried their site Drew and seems to work fine with google Chrome and IE 7 - logged inwent right up to the submit order page. Didn't notice anything that different from normal (I to have never had an issue with them).

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I will have to check my Firefox settings. Perhaps Rimmers have done an update which affects code, popups or banners etc.,which I have blocked.

Had a go at pricing stuff up the other evening to compare with another supplier and found the same as you Drew. I am using a work PC with IE6, as the company won't upgrade to IE8 yet :X

I just solved the Firefox login problem

Following a google search, I went to:

Chronical (German version - maybe it is called History in english)
              Then "Show all History"
Then search for Rimmers in the search box
Right click any of the Rimmers addresses in the window
              Select "Forget Entire Website"

I'm afraid I'm only guessing at the correct translations, but it becomes self evident when you have Firefox in front of you.

After that, everything works fine. I guess there was a cookie or whatever left over before Rimmers slightly updated the site and this cookie doesn't work on the new site. Don't quote me on that though.

I only tried searching for "rimmers" once (in google). I didn't get the website I was expecting

Talking of Rimmers, how long has Terry Wogan been working for them ?

Am I the only person who reckons thatthe guy on their homepage looks like a young TW??

                  Cheers
