Just been up to Rimmers and had a look at the auto jumble, theres more than just Stag stuff availablebut to be honest its probably not worth travelling any great distance for the stuff, but thereare a few bits and pieces that may be useful to someone.

There was a Mk1 mohair hood for £150 that looked fine and was far far better quality than the one I bought from another Stag parts supplier who told me Rimmers ones were poor quality:X:X, pity it was for a Mk1 orI would have had it.

A canvas hood for a Mk2 Stag £100, didnt take it out of the packaging but it looked Ok. New looking petrol tank with some small blisters under the paint £100. A 14 inch minilight replica for a Stag £45, a couple of what looked to be the original biscuit colour front seat base covers £25 each, a new bonnet insulation pad with some damage to the cornerbut probably better than most old ones £40and quite a few other bits pieces including three chrome scuttle vents for £25 each, some pitting etc but might be better than yours.

I didnt buy anything for the Stag but picked up a stainless silencer for a TR7 at a really good pricethat will get fitted to Debs Commer Camper.

It is a shame that some people speak badly ofRimmers because I am sure if they were made to feel more welcome on the Forum they might have posted a list if not pictures of the items for sale, as some have said a long journey but worth it if you can pick up a bargain, thanks to Dave for giving us some insight of what was there, sods law I would make the journey only for the items to have gone already

I used to deal with Rimmers back in the days when I had my TR5, and they were perfectly fine then.

I can only speak as I find and say I think they are fine still as, since getting the Stag, I haven't been unhappy with their service. They take parts back with absolutely no bother and I think that is quite rare nowadays.
