The MGB has the same PCD of 4 1/2" as the stag the only thing that you need to know is the wheel offset or ET. I have 15" tr6 wheels fitted to my car and they have a ET of 15 and only just fit. I think the standard stag had a et of 22/24.
check the date code on the tyres and if 10 years or older they really should be binned even if the tread is good.the code is normally after the DOT letters and signifies year and week number made,old tyres can get you dead real quick and aren't worth the risk.

date code is 4604 tyres never been on the road.visual inspection looks good
so assume ok
