New Year's Day Meeting; Brooklands Museum

Last year there was a massive gathering of classic and historic cars at Brooklands Museum, Weybridge, Surrey, and we had a few stags there too. This event gets bigger each year. If you have not been before, give it a try, there is a great atmosphere and plenty to see.

Let me know if you want to meet up and we can exchange mobile numbers etc.

    Cheers

    Hi Chris,

I have been toying with the idea of popping down.

I may well see you there.

Good on you Al. I looked at doing that this year and it was a bit of a shock financially

I might go to Mercedes world next door and wave at you, but Brooklands after one or two visits is not worth the entrancefee in my opinion.

Due to new years eve excess, the 1st of Jan is normally a write-off. If any of you are interested, on the Sunday (2nd), I know of a breakfast meet in Kent, plus an optional Hoon for those so inclined. They had 350 cars last year ranging from GT40's, Cobrasand TVR's up to modern supercars and are speculating 600 at the moment - weather dependant. Let me know if this is of interest to you and I will send you the details.

                      Hi all,

I think I will make an appearance to this one. Assuming the Stag will start - I haven't had the cover off for a couple of months. Shame on me!

I got my Stag back from the paint shop on Xmas eve, and have been refitting all the trim since then. I am short of two decent chrome mouldings to finish off, but as everything else is done andit still looks good now,I am looking forward to theBrooklands Meeting tomorrow. I changed the Holley for aTwin-Weber today, and it runs really good now.

I dont know where we will be parked, but I hope some of the stags can congregate; it is worth asking the marshalls on entry where the others are if you want to.

Have a good evening tonight and if I don't see you tomorrow, I wish you a happy new Stag year in 2011.

                        Chris
