Sun visor mounting points - position

    Hi All

When rebuilding the Stag I replaced the vinyl which covers the windscreen frame on the inside of the car. Rather stupidly:shock: I failed to make a note of where the holes are positoned for the sun visor clips:X. The clips which sit either side of the rear view mirror.

Could one of you kind souls please provide me a photograph showing their positioning and the dimensions in relation to the rear view mirror?

I don't want to start randomly poking holes in the vinyl in the hope of discovering the threaded hole:?

    Thanks

    Bruce

Just went out and measured up. Dimension marks are in centimetres.

Not sure if it is what you're after, but all of my structure is easily accesible if you need more.

            Hi Drew

            That is perfect. Thanks

I wrongly assumed that the clips were mounted on the windscreen surround but your photo clearly shows the holes in the T bar.

            Regards

            Bruce

Just what i need also after re dong my T bar in leather i have not had the bottle to go "fishing" for the holes. Do either of you know which way the wedge shaped bit goes, the part that acts as a spacer under the rod holder section?

Cheers again for the photos Drew

I took mine off yesterday afternoon as part of a strip down, but I think on both sides the thinner end of the wedge is on the "T" bar side. - So that the block the visor clips into is square to the front of the windscreen, or at least squarer!
