Best Colour For A Stag

Hi guys (and gals) love the mallard blue stag but was wondering about the number plates, being white/silver on black, are they legal on an N plate vehicle? Does anyone know the law on subject?

I have currently got a white mk 1stag coded 19 and itis more creamy in colour than later models which I believe still carry a 19 code.

Hasanyone else heard this?

From the DVLA Website:






Vehicles constructed before 1.1.73 may display traditional style "black and white" plates i.e.white, silver or grey characters on a black plate.

Yesmy number plates are illegal, please don't grass on me!

Never been a problem though in the last 21 years I have owned the car, its not as though they are on a modern style of car to draw attention to the fact.

Inca yellow.

Yellow is supposedly the car colour that turns most peoples heads - that and a Stag V8 burble of course.

I have a Volvo diesel (ford), a Fiesta diesel (ford), a Transit Connect diesel (ford), a Fusion diesel (ford) all these are grey, silver, dark green, silver blue. Boy does it feel good to get in my red Stag

Not thinking of grassing you up!!!!! Just that the plates looked good on yourcarand thought I would check if I could fit them to my own N plate Stag.

got to be saphire blue with tan interior. mine is java green/black interior bought for the standard of the rebuild not the colour hence you gotta be a lucky bunny to get the colour of your dreams AND superb bodywork !!
