auto / manual change over

Hi, I've two T V8, srs 1, one auto box, one manual. I need to swap the engines over [obvious really -- I'm married, one has to do such things] QUESTION IS any snags, problems hints on this. To be done out of car. Foxy

There is a bush in the end of the crank that will need adding or removing depending which way you are doing the swap, also watch out for the spacers on the flywheel of manual/ auto, they are different and if you get them the wrong way round....... I dare say Rubce can enlighten us hereAlso early cranks have 4 bolts, later have 6 though I believe this is not a problem

As graham says, alignment is very important.

If you haven't got the dowel bolts to align themanual box bell housing to the adaptor plate the dowel plugs from the auto fit perfectly.
