New Year New Start

I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and a Prosperous one, but most of all let it be a Healthy one.

And can we start the new year by getting this forum back on track? By that I mean let’s stop all this backstabbing, personal abuse, and getting at the committee, officers, co-ordinators and SOCTFL. All these people give up a lot of their valuable time trying to do things for you the members, and it seems that all some of you want to do is knock them................ The trouble with the internet is it’s so quick and easy to send stuff, and I’m sure we’ve all done it; sent something whilst we’ve been uptight, and then thought I shouldn’t have said that......So think before you send, if there’s two ways to read something think on the positive side not the negative.

Remember the Forum is not the club but part of it.

Ok that’s it, now let’s get back to helping each other sorting out car problems and giving solutions and a bit of light banter.....................Like it used to be.

Said it before, but it is still the right way to go.

I've just been out in my everyday car and checked that the roads are dry, so just polishing off a cup of coffee and it's out with the Stag for the first time in 3 weeks.

Hi guys and gals,

I currently have one wheel on my wagon (Spax), so will be fitting the other three over the break - particularly if the weather prevents getting about too much.

we still have proper snow and ice here dave, this side of the totnes...... its so bad...

we went to collect our turkey this morning in my little jeep, got half way up a hill have then came back down it backwards at about n15mph totally out of control!!!!

I have just "thunk" (thinked? - what is the correct word) positive by jumping in the Stag and taking it for a run. A bit overcast today but it is still 24 degrees - so took the Stag to the local Car Wash and then for a blast around Los Cristianos. Definately made me feel better, and better to do it now whilst I am still sober.
Once again - Maerry Xmas and a Happy New Year.

I totally agree Roger. I´m new to the SOC and the forum - to date both have been very useful to me.I can only see the positive.

May I wish every SOC member the very best for Christmas and for 2011 (can it really be that 2011 is just around the corner already!!!!!!)
