Blue Stag under wraps for years in Wigan

It's a small world. Just this lunchtime been introduced to a holidaymaker in one of the Bars I frequent, who is a Garage owner from Wigan (his Garage is somewhere in the centre of town) who said he has an "S" registered blue Stag under wraps in his Garage that has been there for donkey years.
A customer apparently brought it in many years ago and offered to sell it to him, so he bought it but has never used it since.
Hope to find out more details later as he said he would come across to see my Stag if he could whilst he is here. Only know his name is Steve and I think he has more than one Garage in Wigan.
Told him to get the Stag on the road as it is a shame to leave it just standing there, and it could be one of the last made but he didn't know the chassis no.
If I find out more will make a further post, but maybe one of the Froum members from the Wigan area already knows about it?

Hi Terry,

I have not seen any Stags under cover in Wigan, i think that there are 3 or 4 Stags on the road around Wigan and there may be some more lurking awaiting resurrection.

Hi again Bruce,
Was told last night that the Stag I was referring to is in S&P Motors Garage in Wigan, apparently not far from the old Police Station. S&P do MOTs and Servicing/Maintenance of cars and are not a car sales showroom.
The lady (Mel) who told me this is a hairdresser in Wigan, currently out here where her partner runs my local bar, and she knows "Steve" who is the "S" part of S & P Motors.
If you know where S & P Motors are, why not call in and ask about the Stag, it has been there under wraps for years I am told.
