Door bowls

Has anyone found somewhere that we could get stainlees steel door bowl covers to hide all thatpitted chrome for our beloved stags ??.

I do not think the replacements from rimmers are all that good. Also have you seen the price for rear turrett repair pannels £90.00 each i think Rimmers are out of order on those prices.

I have contacted some one on flea-bay but hesays that tooling would be too expensive, but will think about it.

This may be a subject for the SOCTFL team? This may be a difficult part to manufacture in Stainless Steel as the original is a cast item. A stainless variant would I think need to be machined from billet if the quality of finish is to be of a decent standard,this I feelwould be expensive when compared to the £38 for a chrome one.

I'llask my local engineering company how much to cast and finish machine to see how muchthey would cost.
