    Hi Chris,

I did make it although I didn't spot you I saw your car. It looks very tidy.

You missed this one . Registered very late.

Oh thats only Jons car, he doesnt count! lol

Actually, Jon has done quite a lot of customisation on this car; louvered bonnet, Twin-Weber, TR6 spoiler, tweed seats:shock:yes, TWEED! He gets a lot of stick for that but actually they are really comfortable (custom made by Aldridge).

I did get a pic of yours Dave, didnt know it was you though.
Did you notice how I skilfully chopped the MG out of my photo :P

              Hello all!

              New member here!

I knew I should have gone to brooklands yesterday. Our Stag is a 74, the the website stated that only pre-73 cars would be allowed in. I live near by so have been to brooklands many times so didn't fancy it unless I could drive in. But I see they even let brand new cars in! I did try and call them a few times, but nobody could tell me if I would be allowed in.

Hope you all had a great time!

              Adrian

                Hi Adrian, welcome.

There are quite a few of us in Surrey and South London. Keep an eye on here for when we do our next Breakfast run to Newlands Corner, it would be great to meet you and see your car, any pictures!.

                Ian.

Hi Adrian and welcome to the forum.

I did wonder about the pre '73 thing. but I decided to chance my luck and the guy on the gate didn't bat an eyelid. I guess for this time of the year they aren't going to turn away trade, especially as the weather wasn't great yesterday.

                  Regards

                  Dave

Thank you, I will have a look out for the breakfast run .

Also, the monthly meet at the Faimile - do many people go to this in the winter months? I was a member of Club Triumph, and went to the surrey meet only to find no one else there!

The only photo I have currently has my girlfriend standing next to it, and she wouldn't appreciate it going onlline! I willphotograpghit next time we use it.

I look forward to getting involved and meeting you guys soon!

Hi, I don't go to many of the winter meets at the Fairmile myself because of going out early to work the following morning but once the warmer weather is here it's quite well attended. We had 40 Stags there last year for the anniversary. I think you'll find though that there are always a few turn up and would make you very welcome :dude:

                        Ian.

Also Adrian, if you send Carl an e-mail he will add you to the mailing list for this years club events.

                          Hi Adrian,

Whys that is she topless as well.......Lol

Look forward to meeting up on one of the breakfast runs or the Surrey meets, you will not be alone in fact it is hard to try and talk to everyone that turns up, I always try and apologise, and say catch up at the next meeting if not on a run out.

Hi Adrian, and welcome. You are lucky to be in a good area; plenty of activity around Surrey.

I work at Brooklands, and it annoys me that they mislead people like that sometimes; even I wasnt sure if the (post 72) stags would be allowed in, but we were.

Come along to the next Fairmile meeting; if you put a post on here asking whos going that might hopefully be helpful to you. Carl always goes unless he cannot make it.

                            Cheers, Chris
