Hello,

I have seen that CD ROM mentioned several times now. Please allow me a stupid question: Is the contents of that CD ROM identical with the one of the "Repair Operation Manual"? If not: Where an how can I obtain the CD ROM?

Hi Dieter,

All the ones I have seen are just scanned PDF copies of the original manual. I think sometimes the way it's talked about "when the term ROM is used" It's not referring to computer memory but "Repair Operations Manual"

Hi Dieter

I have .pdf version of the ROM if you are interested. I find it very handy as you can then just print off specific pages and it does not matter if youget dirty fingerprints all over it!!!!

PM me with you email address if you would like me to send it to you. It's a big file mind you at 18MB even zipped.

if someone has the file i will test it out on all versions on windows for compatibility and then make a version that works on all if needed.... i could also upload it and make it public....

I have a scanned version in pdf format that I am happy to share. The only downside is that it is not searchable. Would you be able to amend the format so that you can search it which would make it even more usable?

As you say, the CD won't run with Vista or Windows 7, but the later (more expensive)DVD version will run ok: http://www.ldparts.co.uk/shop/shop.p...94153eff0a3bad

I know, I recently bought one and it's got more than just the ROM(parts microfiche / owners handbook etc) I must admit to being a bit disappointed when I got it as I thought there might be a bit more on it and I'd already got hard copies of virtually everything on it, but it is handy to have.
