Hi all, I am seeking any advice on the best way to clean and buff up the carbs and casting to look new clean but not polished.Also should they be waxed or what to keep the look.

hi ,if you can borrow or have access to on an ultrasonic cleaning bath this is the dogs for getting most of the crap off without any damage,then i would of thought that some mild chemical immersion would finnish them off ,not sure what but google frosts they have some good gear.

use autosol polish with oooo gauge steel wool or mechanical mildly abrasive disc in a drill with same, they will gleam if you put the time and effort in,keep the finish longer with a good quality wax but you will have to repeat in a year or so to keep the look.

Hiya, Frosts AluClean is the kiddie. As for protecting the finish, without paint you can't, conditions are too severe, but re-doing occasionally is no hardship.
