    Next Forum run out

    Hi Guys

I am starting to get my head round what to do for the next Forum northern run out

My intention is to set the date a fair way in advance so that people get it into their diaries which will hopefully help reduce the number of drops outs.

Which days suit people best, Saturdays or Sundays?

    Thoughts please.

    Thanks

    Bruce

Yes I second that , Sunday would be better for me , But I'm happy to go with whatever the mob want

Or how about a Saturday / Sunday Jolly , I don't mind stopping out for the night ,as long as there is a bar !!

                  Hi Dale

Sorry but we already have family plans for that day. Will try and make one of the meetings though.

                    Hi Bruce

Either day is OK but Saturday better as Andrew has football most Sundays and Lois is normally working as well.

                      Hi Bruce

Sorry I've been slow to respond, but have been working away and not had easy access.

Saturday is probably best for me as Mrs Biggles usually needs time to get the roast dinner done on Sundays.

Obviously I can't join you, and I dont know what catchment area you are thinking of for your run out, but if it included North Wales I can make a suggestion of a great place to visit that would offer plenty to do and plenty of good photo opportunities.

I was thinking of Llanberis at the bottom of Mount Snowdon. there is a lovely lake there (Llyn Padarn) you can picnic beside, + a lakekeside railway, an old castle, a slate Museum, and trips to the top of Snowdon on the Mountain Railway.

Used to go there in my Stag - great roads just made for the Stag, & beautiful scenery - just a thought.

Could post some pics I took there if you were interested.

                          Hi Terry

I know Llanberis well. We had several family holidays in that area when I was a child. Thanks for the reminder of what a lovely place it is. It will cetainly be on the shortlist of proposed destinations.

                          Regards
