Weather seal clips

Gent's I have found that my weather seal on both doors is loose about 8" along the front edge on both sides. Obviously these were taken off during resparay 2 x years ago. I have tried sticking them down using an automotive adhesive and the passsenger side seems ok but the drivers side always seems to work it's way up and breaks the bond. I have noticed on Fleabay that there seems to be two different clips for the weather seal strip.

My question is which ones should go onto the front facing steel seal, and what would be the best way to secure these, as the tool I bought from RB obviously cannot secure these clips as there is no room to get it inside the door from above on the front side of the seal. The tool fits so far along where the rubber isand I have secured the weather strip along say 2/3 rds the way along

The blue clip are for the outer seal, the black ones the inner felt one. IIRC the inner ones are fitted from the top then the seal pushed over the clips hence the little hooks on the clip. For the outer I didn't use a fitting tool; you can get your hand in and push the clips up and on with seal in place. You end up with scratches all over the back of you hand and sore fingers but it's the only way I could get mine in. When I got my Stag they were missing so I suspect the DPO didn't fancy the job

<edit> I'm not sure I'm right about the ones with the hooks, I'll need to take a quick look unless anyone has a better memory that me which wouldn't be difficult
