    Rear suspension bushes

Have just got around to start the dreaded job of changing the rear suspension bushes for the poly bushes I bought several years ago and have started the first side.

Everthing went fine and the old bushes pushed out easily and look like they are in perfect condition. I know they are the originals as I have had the car from almost new, I must be lucky.

Anyway now I am way ahead of myself and need to think about putting it all back together

The simple question is should i grease the new poly bushes before i fit them or can that effect the material

I would definately put a little bit of lubricant/mild grease/vasoline on. I didn't on some of the front ones and they have a tendancy to squeak and creak a bit, particularly on the top and bottom springpads. Got favershams to do my rears recently and so far so good!
