It is the 31st European Stag Meeting held from 4th June (starting 11.00 in Maritim Hotel Cologne) to 5th June (ending 15.00 in Grandhotel Petersberg Königswinter). It is not exactly cheap (EUR 238.- person).
2 x lunch (1 x Saturday on a boat; 1 x Sunday in Guesthouse of the government)
1 x evening meal in the Maritim hotel
1 x overnight room (Saturday night)
1 x car park
1 x entry to chocolate museum
€238 per PERSON based on sharing a double room (incl. Breakfast)
€295 per PERSON with single occupancy (incl. Breakfast)
Extending the stay on Thursday, Friday or Sunday night:
€155 per Double ROOM per night (includes two adults, breakfast & parking)
€134 per single room per night
All kicks off 11h Saturday and ends 15h Sunday after fotoshoot.
The German Stag Club has just written to say that, for persons over 12 yrs old wanting to participate in the weekend but who have other hotel arrangements (room) the cost is €160 (about £140) for the two lunches, evening meal, boat trip etc.
Stayed in Cologne on the way to the Nurburgring late last year (was in my Lotus Elise, not the Stag!)
Nice trip down through Holland (if travelling Hull to Rotterdam overnight ferry) visiting Amsterdam, staying overnight in Eindhoven, before 'booting it' down to Cologne on the autobahn
