Thanks for that Steve. I'd heard of it before but wasn't sure when itwas or any of the details. I'd really like to do it but it would helpif my car was ready for it and SWMBO was in agreement
I'll work on those and report back if I can make it.
Julian ,It helps if you have someone to read the directions if you get split from the group.I went with Tim Shoubridge last time and it was a good little run.We were third out in this video

Saw you in the video but I don't know if it's my computer but it was all squashed ! - I never thought a Stag would look anything less than beautiful but when they look like they're only about 4 foot wide they do lose some of their looks!

Same on mine too, but if you change from 360p to 240p it runs at the correct aspect ratio.

Thanks Dave, I'd have never worked that out for myself
Steve, my application is now in the letter box waiting for postie tomorrow and Malcolm, I hope to do the show on the Saturday and the drive on the Sunday. Hope to see you there.
All being well I'll be there, and there is usually a pretty good turnout of Stags from this and surrounding areas.
Last year's event was great fun, a good route with clear instructions, a tea stop half way round and a nice picnic site at the end A very friendly bunch too - we had loads of people stop to ask if we were OK on the various occasions we had to stop and get the potty out at the side of the road Glad my daughter's that bit older now and I won't have to be doing long runs with a newly potty-trained toddler this year!
If you do end up not having a codriver, drop me a line and we'll look out for you with a view to trying to stay with you.

Hi Wendy,
If your daughter's not using the potty, I wonder if I could borrow it? At my age it might come in useful
Ok up for this one, all ready to sign up SWMBO is filling out the form.
This will be the first real run (trial) in the old girl ready for my brothers wedding at Romsey Abbey on the 30th.
Now the question is will I need a trailer load of spare parts or will she make it?.....I think the car will be fine though.
Although I've had my car for a year, I still don't feel that I truly 'know' it through and through so I'm always driving with a boot full of tools and spares.
I did my first rallies last year and one of them involved a picnic lunch - there was hardly enough space left in the boot to pack it
Look forward to seeing you there - I reckon shortly before the New Forest Run we'll have to do a check on which Forum members will be in it. Sounds like you, Wendy, Steve and myself at the moment. Anybody else?
