Just been and taken some photos-hope they upload,
Air filter box in the way,but you will get the gist of it.
I've routed the bottom hose through the engine lifting eye.

The 15mm capillary tee was from a plumbers merchant/diy store, what I did though was put 3x 15mm olives on each stab before soldering the 3x 2" 15mm pipe into each branch of the tee(to make a tee with longer branches)(sorry no photos)then the jubilee clips weren't going to slip off when tightened.
If you're lucky with the scrapyard, then a nice piece of good hose may come with the tank!
The strap/support was from an autojumble and was also useful for fitting the electric fan in front of the radiator.

Hi guys,
I have fitted a Toyota Estimate header tank to my Stag.I made a stainless bracket that is bolted older the wiper motor. The tank is bolted to the top and sits just above the cam housing. The fuses and plugs are still easy to get at should that be necessary. The tank is connected to the radiator overflow pipe and as the header is above the brass radiator cap there is no problems with keeping the radiator topped up.In fact I have had this system for the past 4 years and have not had to fill up the tank or header.(apart from changing the contents etc).My gauge is just below 12 o'clock and no problems at all(as yet)
I suppose I will have one now I have said that.It was cheap to fit and does the job!!!

Just to reawaken an old thread I found a ford sierra header tank, which fits quite tidily. Ive tried to attach a couple of pics, but despite reading the instructions I am not sure the pictures will post directly. Cost me a whole five quid, athough I am sure getting the rad modded and knocking up new pipework will make up for it
