    Trim

Could anyone please advise where I could obtain thevynal material as used in the centre panels of the cushion and back rest. It is the original material I am after which is like a woven knotted pattern. I know I can go to the spares outlets but looking for a source such as a trim shop supplier.

Have seen a number of patterns. Some were close but want the origin because having previously been restoring commercials prior to falling for the Stag, and showing the finished product I do not want anyone coming up and pointing at the trim and advising thats wrong!

I was onceaccosted for have the wrong valve caps fitted! Cannot repeat what I told him.

Many thanks and will watch this space.

Hiya Mike, probably worth trying Woolies or even Aldridge Trimming. God help anybody who comes up to me with that kind of crap, good for you, it won't be said by any Stag owner I've met. Martin.

      Hi Mike

To aid your search I think the correct term for that seat pattern is basket weave

      Try here for starters http://www.martrim.co.uk/catalogue/v...asketweave.htm

If you're after original material for someone to make up for you, I heard Paddocks did have a roll of original 1970s vinyl.

Hope that helps youand try and get those valve caps changed old chap you're letting the side down

(what did you say to him?)

      Regards

      Dave

Aldridges do the basketweave. Just ask them and they'll send you a sample.

        Cheers

Many thanks chaps for your help. Now have samples on route from Woolies and Aldridge. Unfortunately Paddocks only have theordinary vynal off the roll.

If you are interested I have used Paddocksfor everything I have had to replace, with exceptance of the front and rear bumpers (in stainless) and that was because they did not stock them. Not once have they not been able to deliver and the service is brilliant.

Hope to meet some of you this summer and again many thanks for your help and guidance.

          Mike

Wait till you see the tyre valves on the Stag!

            Hi Mike,

Most, if not all, of Paddocks' trim items come from Aldridges (who have a very good reputation for quality) however Paddocks are often cheaper :?

            Cheers
